PLUS Supermarkets faced the challenge of keeping its 20,000 employees connected and informed across the country, from the HQ to nearly 300 stores and distribution centers. We helped PLUS create a seamless way to align and communicate with all employees, no matter where they are.
Smooth communication
PLUS needed a solution for seamless communication and centralized information, with strict GDPR compliance to ensure secure data exchange. This was right up our alley! We began by analyzing the needs of store employees and developed a smartphone app with key features like private and group chat, a social timeline, shift takeover, and holiday requests. To simplify back-office tasks for store managers, we also created a web solution.

Designed to scale
Before the full launch, we tested the solution in a few pilot stores to gather feedback and ensure it met their needs perfectly. While the solution was designed to be scalable from the start, we didn’t roll it out to other stores, HQ, and distribution centers until we were confident it would serve the employees effectively.
