Good understanding is key
Over 300 retail locations were still relying on outdated systems, so we knew understanding the daily store processes was crucial. Collaborating closely with Coop’s store managers, domain experts, and SAP/ABAP consultants, we gathered valuable insights. Within just three months, we identified seven key processes, consolidated them into one platform, and launched a pilot. Our agile product team worked hand-in-hand with store teams to measure, learn, and continuously improve the solution.

The new Store Operations Application is delivering exactly what it was designed to do—making life easier for Coop’s store employees. On average, users save up to 45 minutes per day by streamlining routine tasks such as waste registration, ordering, and due date checks. Customer queries, like those about stock, are answered quickly and easily. For store managers, the priorities are clear: a spotless store, well-stocked shelves, and happy customers. With our solution, they can now focus on exactly that.
