STORL coordinates the collection of regulated waste streams for growers across the Netherlands. Their digital platform is not a supporting tool: it is the core of their operation.
Problem statement
The existing applications were technically unstable and poorly aligned with day-to-day practice. This led to manual work, inefficiency and limited scalability. With the ambition to grow to 15,000 growers, structural professionalisation was not an option: it was a requirement.
Our solution
We started with a technical analysis of the full application landscape and realigned architecture, processes and user flows with the operation.
The supplier portal was simplified with clear step-by-step flows and a low-threshold registration process. Growers can now create an account faster and immediately make use of the service. We redesigned processes to increase automation, making the platform more stable and scalable for the future.
Impact
- Better adoption and growing user numbers through a simplified app for growers
- Fewer support requests through an optimised step-by-step submission process
- Less manual processing in the back office
- Increased process automation
- Stable and scalable digital foundation for national growth
