Goals and focus for a Medior Business Analyst
As a Medior Business Analyst, you will be at the heart of our project development process, transforming business needs into actionable solutions. Your mission is clear:
- Translating complex challenges into actionable solutions.
- You ensure that all stakeholders – from leadership to development teams – are aligned and focused.
- Working closely with the Product Owner, you bring clarity, focus, and purpose to every sprint.
- You lead refinement sessions to break down and prioritize tasks, ensuring that the development process is efficient and targeted.
- As a key knowledge holder, you provide insights and guidance, supporting your team through any challenges.
What You’ll Do
Your primary tasks will include:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements, creating user stories and process flows.
- Analysis and Documentation: Identify process improvements and create detailed documentation, drawing insights from complex data.
- Solution Design: Work with developers, UX/UI designers, and Product Owners to design solutions that meet business and technical needs.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, manage expectations, and mediate conflicts.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
- Support and Training: Provide guidance to end-users, create training materials, and conduct training sessions.
What You Bring
As a Medior Business Analyst, you'll need to bring a diverse set of skills and attributes to our product teams. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle business challenges and develop solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication in Dutch (MINIMUM LEVEL B2) and English to articulate business needs and technical requirements.
- Technical acumen: Familiarity with software development methodologies, agile practices, and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Scrum, BPMN, MoSCoW, ICE, RACI).
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team and foster a cooperative spirit.
- Detail-oriented: Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Can-do attitude: Proactive attitude to motivate and support teams, striving for the best possible results.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with OutSystems.
- Experience with improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma or similar.
- Certifications like CCBA™ or similar.
