Our approach

We start with an analysis of your full codebase, using our own Factory Analysis Tool (FAT). Then we determine the route for each application along three paths: migrate directly what can move one-to-one, improve and migrate what deserves an upgrade first, and phase out what's barely used anymore. Because ODC works at factory level and some components (BPTs, timers, multi-tenancy) need to be set up again, we plan for that in advance, so you're not faced with surprises.

Along the way, we teach your developers how to think, build and manage in ODC. That way you don't stay dependent, but build forward with confidence. And we use the migration to improve UX and performance right away.

    No. OutSystems has extended O11's lifespan indefinitely, so you're not obliged to migrate. ODC does remain the platform where new innovations, such as AI agents, appear first.

  • Can you just transfer applications over?

    Sometimes, yes. OutSystems' migration tool helps in simple scenarios; in most cases we combine automation with manual review. We migrate in phases and test continuously, so downtime stays minimal.

  • What if certain functionality doesn't work in ODC yet?

    ODC is still under development. Components like BPTs, timers and multi-tenancy need to be set up again. We map that out in advance and plan it in properly.
