Modernizing paper processes
During our analysis, we identified numerous paper-based processes that were slowing things down. Digitizing these workflows would be a quick win for efficiency. One key area we focused on was expedition control—the final inspection of cargo before it's loaded onto the truck. Collaborating with Coop’s domain experts, we redesigned the workflow and created a digital concept. Working alongside two SAP developers, we transformed this concept into a practical, multilingual mobile app for specialized handheld devices, streamlining the process and boosting productivity.

Saving several hours every day
Distribution center employees played a key role in testing the app, as they were the primary users. The app is already saving employees hours each day. By replacing the outdated, paper-heavy process with our intuitive, digital-first solution, we eliminated the need for return trips between the truck and the office, streamlining operations and significantly improving efficiency.
