2022 has been a phenomenal year for Product League. From revamping our services, and delivering impactful solutions to launching a fresh new website, we have a lot to be thankful for.
Paying it forward
But we realize not everyone is so fortunate. In the Netherlands alone, more than 1 million people, many of them children, live below the poverty line. On top of that, multiple global crises have affected members of our own communities, and we felt it was necessary to be a more active part of the solution. We knew this would require us to flex our creativity and look for new ways to spread goodwill this holiday season.
A League with good intentions
In that spirit, we are shifting part of our budget to develop community partnerships and initiatives this holiday season. For starters, Product League is partnering with the Red Cross and the Dutch Food Bank to support a pilot program which will deliver food packages to children who go to school without breakfast. These organizations already distribute 600 food packets per week in the city of Utrecht, keeping more than 1400 of its citizens from going hungry as well as reducing food waste in the region. We are doing our part by donating 1000 food packets to aid children and their families because we believe that everyone in our community deserves a good meal and a little help from caring neighbors.
A Sustainable Partnership
We might be techies in our heads, but in our hearts, we feel for those in our community who are less fortunate, and we want to make a lasting impact to help them stay on their feet. That’s why Product League is developing a longer-term collaboration with the Dutch Food Bank and the Red Cross to support their initiatives in the stride against food insecurity. How? With what we do best: our business savvy, and technical expertise. We are over the moon excited for this partnership and look forward to making a positive impact in the future.
